In January 2026, Ukraine imported 18.2 thousand tons of frozen fish (excluding fish fillets) – 4% more compared to the same period in 2025. 

In monetary terms, frozen fish imports increased by 22% compared to January 2025 and reached $43.8 million. 

The largest suppliers of frozen fish during the first month of this year were Iceland (26.4%), the USA (16%) and Norway (15.5%).
