Ukraine has increased the export of cattle and beef

In January-October 2023, Ukraine jhas exported 15,47 thousand tons of cattle with a live weight of 24,41 million US dollars. This is 3% more than last year, in physical terms, but the turnover for the delivered goods reduced by 16%. In October, Ukraine has exported 701 tons of live weight cattle, which is 61% less compared to September of this year. Revenue from delivered animals amounted to 982,1 thousand US dollars and reduced by 68% compared to the previous month.

The volume of chilled beef export in October amounted to 17 tons, which is 16 tons more than in September and 94% more than in October 2022. Cash income increased to 60,8 thousand US dollars (+85% by September and +93% by October 2022). Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has exported 192 tons of chilled beef, which is 9% more compared to January-October 2022.

The export of frozen beef reduced to 1,72 thousand tons (-6%), and the monetary revenue for the delivered meat reduced to 7,17 million US dollars compared to September 2023. Export revenue in January-October 2023 amounted to 70,04 million US dollars, which is 24% more than last year.

In October, Ukraine has imported 65 tons of live weight cattle to Denmark. In January-October 2023, import amounted to 582 tons of cattle, which is 37% less than last year. In October, the import of chilled beef increased to 17 tons (+39%), and frozen beef reduced to 193 tons (-2%). In January-October 2023, the import of chilled beef reduced to 115 tons (-125%), and frozen red meat grew up to 1,7 thousand tons (+64%).
