This marketing year (from September 1, 2024), Ukraine exported over 494,000 tons of sugar (of which 196,600 tons for the period January-April 2025).

90% was sent to the world market, 10% was exported to EU countries.

It is noted that Turkey remains the leader among buyers of Ukrainian sugar, where 16% of export volumes were sent, Libya is in second place (11%), and the EU is in third place (10%).

Ukrainian sugar producers completed the 2024 production season, having produced 1.8 million tons of sugar.

In the first 6 months of the 2024/25 marketing year (from September 2024 to February 2025), Ukraine exported over 403,500 tons of sugar.
