Ukraine exported goods worth over $3.3 billion in July

In July, Ukraine exported goods to international markets valued at over $3.3 billion, a $167.8 million (5.4%) increase compared to June 2025. For the first seven months of 2025, Ukraine’s total goods exports exceeded $23 billion.

Agricultural and food industry products remain Ukraine’s primary export category, reaching $1.7 billion in July, accounting for more than half of total exports. Iron ore, certain machinery, and metallurgy products also constitute significant shares of exports.

In terms of volume, Ukraine exported 8.2 million tons of goods in July, including 3.5 million tons of agricultural products. Compared to June, transportation volumes by sea and road increased by 7.1% and 4.4%, respectively, while rail transport decreased by 1.5%.

By value, Ukraine’s top exports in July included: sunflower oil – $537.9 million (464,000 tons), iron ore and concentrates – $190.1 million (3.0 million tons), wheat – $159.0 million (732,800 tons), soybeans – $151.0 million (375,200 tons), corn – $145.0 million (617,700 tons), insulated wires – $108.2 million (5,800 tons), poultry meat – $96.5 million (34,100 tons).

The European Union remains Ukraine’s key trading partner, with exports to EU countries reaching $1.9 billion in July, a 10.1% increase from June. Poland was the largest buyer ($405.9 million), followed by the Netherlands ($201.8 million), Germany ($199.8 million), Spain ($161.4 million), and Italy ($142.5 million).

Among non-EU countries, the largest consumers of Ukrainian exports were China ($212.4 million), Turkey ($149.2 million), India ($140.8 million), Egypt ($110.9 million), and Moldova ($100.3 million).
