Ukraine sold 19,200 tons of honey on foreign markets in January-May 2025, according to the State Customs Service. The country earned $41.57 million from honey exports.
Starting June 6, 2025, updated rules for trading Ukrainian agricultural products with the EU came into effect.
The EU has set a duty-free import limit for Ukrainian honey at 3,500 tons until the end of 2025. This means that after the quota is exhausted (7/12), a 17.3% tariff will be applied to Ukrainian honey imports.
