Ukraine doubled egg exports: geography significantly changed

In January–March 2025, Ukraine exported 496 million eggs. The doubling of exports in the first three months compared to January–March 2024 did not negatively impact the domestic egg supply. This year, significant changes in export geography are observed. The EU’s share increased to 72%, but this growth is only 3% compared to the same period in 2024. Singapore’s share in the regional export structure has declined, from 15% in 2023 to 4% this year.

In 2025, exports to the United Kingdom began, reaching 7%. Similarly, exports to African countries are growing, with the continent’s share increasing to 8%, compared to 5% last year and no exports to Africa during this period in 2023. At the same time, supplies to Israel are quite stable, although the share has decreased to 9%, but the physical volume of exports has not changed compared to January – March 2024. Exports to the Middle East are nearly nonexistent.
