Ukraine and Poland have extended guaranteed gas import capacity until October 2026

LLC “Gas Transmission System Operator of Ukraine” has agreed with Poland’s gas transmission system operator, Gaz-System, to extend the guaranteed capacity at the entry point to Ukraine until October 1, 2026. The capacity is set at 6.0 million cubic meters per day (at 0°C) and 6.4 million cubic meters per day (at +20°C).

The Poland-Ukraine interconnector allows Ukraine to access maximum capacities ranging from 2.2 billion to 2.3 billion cubic meters of gas annually, depending on air temperature.

The Polish route is crucial for accessing LNG supplies from global markets through Polish terminals.
