Ukraine and Poland extended the validity of permits for cargo transportations to third countries

Ukrainian and Polish cargo carriers will be able to carry out transportation to and from third countries on the basis of 2022 permits until the end of 2023.

The corresponding decision was made during the meeting of the Ukrainian-Polish mixed commission on road transportation with the participation of the Ministry of Reconstruction of Ukraine and the Ministry of Infrastructure of Poland.

An important condition for transportation to and from third countries will be the degree of the environmental friendliness of the cargo. Permits apply only to vehicles of class not lower than Euro-5. The updated environmental requirements will be valid since July 1, carriers that have started their run will be able to wind it up.

The Parties also agreed to check the network of regular bus routes between Ukraine and Poland and discussed the introduction of e-Cherha for passenger transportation.
