Ukraine is among the top-15 world horilka/vodka exporters

The UNN reports that according to the data provided by World’s Top Exports website, Ukraine has joined the list of the top-15 world leaders in terms of horilka export volumes.

In this list, Ukraine is on the 15th place. In 2019, Ukraine exported horilka worth 33,7 million USD.

It has also been reported that during the year Ukraine has reduced horilka deliveries abroad by 17,1%, and moved down in the ranking from the 12th place to the 15th place.

Sweden is on the 1st place. During the year this country has delivered abroad horilka worth 449,1 million USD, and at the same time this country’s exports of this product reduced by 8,4%.

France, with the exports value of 404,3 million USD (- 8,7%) is on the 2nd place in the ranking. The last from the three leaders in the ranking is Russia. In 2019 this country exported horilka worth 150,6 million USD (+39%).

In total, in 2019 the world exports of horilka amounted to 2,18 billion USD. Almost 89% from the total exports volume of this products (1,9 billion USD) belongs to the European countries.  

As it had been reported before, Ukrainians completely refused to buy the Russian vodka.
