Soy producers will need a new certificate when exporting

In 2024, Ukrainian soybean exporters will need a traceability certificate for deliveries to the European Union.

The new EU legislation on combating deforestation introduces strict requirements for traceability of each individual batch of imported soybeans up to the field. In particular, fields where soybeans are grown must not have had deforestation in the past, and companies must properly certify this under the EU's innovations.
