The press-service of “Ukroilprom” Association informs that the share of the fat-and-oil products in agricultural and food products exports from Ukraine in January-May of 2020 has increased to 34,3%.

It is said in the reports that the fat-and-oil products (mostly, these are different oils and oilcake) play a significant role in the agricultural and food products exports. The share of these types of products in the agricultural and food products exports in January-May of 2020 has increased to 34,3%. The share of the fat-and-oil products in agricultural and food products exports from Ukraine to  Asian countries in January-May of 2020 has amounted to 39% (1,7 billion USD); to the EU – 35,6% (936,3 million USD); to the USA – 28,7% (21,8 million USD).

As it has been reported before, according to the data provided by the State Statistical Service of Ukraine, in January-April of 2020 Ukraine has exported fats or oils of animal and plant origin worth 1,99 billion USD (this is 25,1% more than in the same period of the previous year).
