The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported on the reduction of the deficit of trade in goods. Thus, in the first half of September, Ukraine exported products worth 1,818 billion US dollars and imported 1,929 billion US dollars. The deficit is only 111 million US dollars. In August, such a deficit amounted to 1,05 billion US dollars.

Sunflower oil (230 million US dollars), corn (174 million US dollars), rapeseed (166 million US dollars), and wheat (147 million US dollars) traditionally remain the export leaders. Also, a new record was set for electricity - 131 million US dollarsUS dollars in half a month.

1,997 million tons were shipped by sea transport, 585 thousand tons by car. The main direction of export of Ukrainian goods remains the EU: 1,24 billion US dollars worth were sent to European countries.
