During January-February 2025, Ukraine imported 1.3 thousand tons of pork, which is 2.2 times more than in the same period last year. In monetary terms, imports for the first two months of 2025 increased by 66.7% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching $2.5 million.

In January-February of this year, pork was mainly imported from Denmark (87%), the Netherlands (10%), and Poland (3.1%). At the same time, imports still have no impact on price dynamics in Ukraine. Export volumes of pork in January-February of this year doubled compared to the first two months of 2024, reaching 597 tons. In monetary terms, exports brought in $1.7 million, which is 2.2 times more than in the same period last year. Ukrainian pork was primarily shipped to Hong Kong (34%), the UAE (23.6%), and Malaysia (13.9%).
