In Poland, there is the growth of trade with Ukraine

As of mid-November, the number of trucks with goods that entered Poland from Ukraine increased by 14%, from Poland to Ukraine by 4%.

In the first month of war, truck traffic on the Polish-Ukrainian border decreased by 45% compared to March last year. However, later the border traffic began to grow significantly.

In October of this year, compared to October last year, the number of trucks from Ukraine, which were cleared by Polish customs, increased by 39%. Meanwhile, the number of registered trucks from Poland to Ukraine increased by 13%.

The total value of all customs declarations from January to October, issued by Polish customs officials in the border zone with Ukraine, amounted to 52 billion zloty  (11,5 billion US dollars), which is 10 billion more (2,2 billion US dollars) than last year.

Most often, such goods as frozen fruits, oil, cereals, flour, eggs, various types of wood, fuel pellets, sheet metal, steel rods, furniture and biomass are imported from Ukraine to Poland.

Besides humanitarian aid, food products, electronics, hygiene and cosmetic products, office and school supplies, building materials, auto parts and accessories, as well as new and used cars, diesel fuel, and household items are cleared from Poland to Ukraine.
