Poland has become the largest importer of a group of Ukrainian goods

According to Ukroliyaprom, in the 2024/2025 marketing season (September 2024 – August 2025), Ukraine exported 521.3 thousand tonnes of soybean oil worth $521.7 million, as well as 1.337 million tonnes of soybean meal worth $461.1 million.

Soybean oil exports in the 2024/25 marketing season increased compared to the 2023/24 marketing season by 52.5% in physical terms and by 98% in value terms. Soybean meal exports increased by over 95% and 54.4% respectively.

In the past season, Poland became the largest importer of these two Ukrainian goods.

Thus, in the 2024/2025 season Poland imported 345.3 thousand tonnes of Ukrainian soybean oil (worth $344.5 million), second place went to India with 36.7 thousand tonnes ($35.3 million), third place to Germany with 22 thousand tonnes ($22 million).

Also in the 2024/2025 season Poland imported 475 thousand tonnes of Ukrainian soybean meal (worth $180.9 million), second place went to Hungary with 256.2 thousand tonnes ($86.6 million), third place to Romania with 107 thousand tonnes ($35.2 million).
