The Parliament of Canada took another step towards the ratification of the Free Trade Agreement with Ukraine

In the second reading, the Senate of Canada approved the bill on the ratification of the updated Free Trade Agreement with Ukraine. Now the draft law will be referred to the specialized committee for consideration, from where it should return to the Senate for final approval. Earlier, this document was approved by the House of Commons, so after final approval by the Senate, it should receive the signature of the Governor General to enter into force.

The Free Trade Agreement between Canada-Ukraine entered into force on August 1, 2017.
