From January to June 2025, the trade turnover of agricultural products between Ukraine and the European Union decreased by $0.6 billion (-7%) compared to the same period last year, reaching $7.6 billion.
This was accompanied by a reduction in Ukraine’s positive trade balance to $3.2 billion, driven by a simultaneous decline in exports (-$0.9 billion) and an increase in imports (+$0.2 billion).
The main trading partners for Ukraine in the agricultural product segment among EU countries are Poland, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Germany, and France. The combined trade turnover with these countries accounts for approximately 73% of the total value.
