New rail route for grain launched from Moldova to Odesa region

The first freight train carrying grain from Moldova arrived at the port of Chornomorsk, opening a new international logistics corridor for Ukrainian exports.

A 4,500-tonne shipment of grain has been successfully delivered by rail to Chornomorsk, from where it will be shipped by sea to its final destination. The launch of the new route was made possible through the joint efforts of Ukrainian and Moldovan railway operators. This new line enables Ukrainian ports to receive cargo from abroad, which will contribute to increased transportation volumes and the development of international trade.
