Starting November 1, Ukraine will launch a new digital system for electronic permits from the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT) for international freight transportation.

For control authorities, the ECMT will prepare generalized recommendations in coordination with 40 member countries of the system. These will primarily address non-systemic errors when filling out the onboard log in the ECMT digital system.

Each participating country will request its control authorities to implement a tolerance period of at least 3 months during inspections of transportation carried out under ECMT permits.

The Ministry of Development has urged carriers who have not yet gained access to the testing system to contact Ukrtransbezpeka to obtain it.
