More than 90% of Ukrainian live cattle exported is bought by Lebanon

In January-May 2026, Ukraine exported 9.3 thousand tons of live cattle ‒ 9.4% more than in the same period last year.

In monetary terms, exports increased by 11.1% compared to the five months of 2025 ‒ to $21 million.

Among the largest buyers of domestic live cattle during the five months of this year are Lebanon (91.5%), Saudi Arabia and Libya (3.4% each).
