Live cattle export reduced by 6,7% in 11 months

In January-November 2023, Ukraine has exported 16 100 tons of live cattle, which is 4,7% less than in the same period of 2022.

In monetary terms, the export of live cattle for 11 months of 2023 fell by 19,2%.

Lebanon (59%), Egypt (26,9%), and Jordan (9%) bought the most domestic live cattle during January-November 2023.

The import of live cattle during the 11 months of 2023 amounted to 615 tons, which is 22,7% less than in the same period of the previous year.

Ukrainian farmers spent 3,4 million US dollars for the purchase of live cattle abroad, as in January-November 2022.

During the 11 months of 2023, live cattle were most imported from Denmark (65,5%), Slovakia (16,2%) and Poland (7,9%).
