The leading countries supplying agricultural products to the Ukrainian market have been named

In the ranking of the main suppliers of agricultural products to the Ukrainian market, the top positions are held by Poland (USD 568 million), Turkey (USD 345 million), Germany (USD 322 million), Italy (USD 202 million), the Netherlands (USD 200 million), France (USD 171 million), Norway (USD 147 million), Spain (USD 140 million), China (USD 132 million), and Ecuador (USD 111 million). 

The commodity structure of food product imports to Ukraine remains largely unchanged. 

The import of fruits and berries primarily consists of citrus fruits, bananas, other exotic fruits, and nuts. In the first half of 2025, this category reached USD 472 million, a 14% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. 

Traditionally, one of the two largest shares of imported food products is fish, crustaceans, and mollusks. In the structure of imports for this commodity group, which totaled USD 444 million for the first six months of 2025, frozen fish stands out prominently, with purchases reaching USD 196 million. This is approximately 6% less than the USD 209 million recorded for the same period in 2024. Imports of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages reached USD 370 million, about 2% higher than the previous year. 

The value of vegetable imports increased by 64%, reaching USD 355 million. Imports of various food products, including extracts, concentrates, ready-made sauces, and others, reached USD 277 million, surpassing the first half of the previous year by 2%. Imports of cocoa products increased by 29%, reaching USD 265 million. 

Imports of oilseed crops and their products for January–June 2025 reached USD 260 million, which is 10% lower than the same period in 2024. Notably, sunflower seed imports decreased by 17%, reaching USD 133 million.
