Last year, the cargo turnover of Ukrainian ports reached 97,2 million tons

In 2024, the cargo turnover of Ukrainian ports hit a record high of 97,2 million tons; 76,4 million tons of cargo were exported through the Ukrainian maritime corridor to 52 countries worldwide.
“Ukrainian seaports set a new record in 2024, handling 97,2 million tons of cargo. This exceeds the 2023 figure of 62 million tons and demonstrates the recovery and further development of Ukraine’s maritime logistics, even in a difficult geopolitical situation”, the report states.
The main drivers of growth were grain and ore cargoes, which provided 60,3 million tons and 18.5 million tons, respectively.
Grains remain the leading export article.
Over the past year, 3,138 vessels used the maritime corridor, with the total cargo turnover via the maritime corridor reaching 79.9 million tons, and exports totaling 76.4 million tons to 52 countries worldwide.
