In the period from April 1 to 23, the volume of road export of agricultural products amounted to 214.8 thousand tons, which corresponds to an average daily level of about 9.3 thousand tons.
At the beginning of the month, the intensity of shipments was in the range of 10-11 thousand tons per day, in the middle of the period it decreased to 6.7-8.5 thousand tons per day, after which at the end it was again recorded at a level above 10 thousand tons per day.
The current pace of shipments remains lower than the March average (≈10.7 thousand tons per day), which reflects a more restrained rhythm of road logistics in April.
The geography of transportation maintains its established configuration: the key direction is the Polish border (approximately 2.6-5.7 thousand tons per day), while the Romanian route forms the second largest channel by volume.
In the structure of cargoes, products of processing and the food group dominate: sunflower oil (~20.2 thousand tons), sugar (~16.9 thousand tons), poultry meat (~17.6 thousand tons), soybean meal (~13.7 thousand tons) and soybean oil (~11.1 thousand tons), which emphasizes the nature of using road transport mainly for products with higher added value.
