Kuwait has opened a market for the Ukrainian milk and dairy products

Ukrainian producers of milk and dairy products have the opportunity to export their products to another country - the State of Kuwait. The relevant veterinary certificate is approved by the competent authorities of both countries.

This is the fifth open export market for Ukrainian milk and dairy producers since the beginning of 2021. Earlier, the markets of Lebanon, Japan, Argentina and Libya have been opened.

,,The Gulf region, in particular Kuwait, is of great interest for many Ukrainian food producers. I am glad to announce that today we have created additional opportunities for them to earn in this market thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Food and Consumer Service. In the long run, it will also strengthen Ukraine's position as a supplier of agricultural and food products to Kuwait, “ - said Minister of  foreign affairs Dmytro Kuleba.

,,The work of opening new export markets is extremely important, because the growth of Ukrainian export is a guarantee of economic growth of our country,” - said Vladyslava Magaletska, Head of the State Food and Consumer Service.

You can get acquainted with the form of the certificate on the official web portal of the State Food and Consumer Services.

Additionally: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the State Food and Consumer Service are working together to open new markets for Ukrainian exports, providing support to producers and removing technical barriers to trade, as well as providing state guarantees for compliance with partner countries.

The Council of Exporters and Investors at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is a platform where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs accumulates information on investment and trade opportunities from around the world, as well as facilitates business contacts between Ukrainian exporters and importers abroad.
