Since July 30 Ukraine will supply 250 MW of electricity to Europe and plans to increase the indicator in eight times

Since July 30, opportunities for selling Ukrainian electricity to Europe will increase by 2,5 times. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine   on July 29. "We are currently exporting 100 MW, and we will supply 250 MW, which we would like to increase in eight times in a year. The potential of our country in the export of electricity is billions of euros," - Denys Shmyhal emphasized.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Ukraine is not postponing the implementation of European directives and regulations till the end of the war, but is implementing them now. In particular, in addition to the "energy visa-free" with the EU, the "transport visa-free" has already been concluded and has been working now, duties and quotas on Ukrainian goods have been abolished.

"In the nearest future, we expect that the Parliament will  consider 50 submitted and agreed European integration draft laws. Abs besides this, the ministries will soon complete the preparation of all draft laws related to the implementation of the Association Agreement with the European Union," the Head of the Cabinet of Ministers stressed.
