In January-July 2024, Ukraine exported 54 159 000 tons of honey worth 103 562 million USD. Ukrainian honey is actively bought by Germany - 26 million USD (25%), the USA - 16 million USD (15,5%), Poland - 11,1 million USD (10,74%). Since June 2024, the European Union extended for the third time in a row the preferential regime established in 2022 for our country, which includes the removal of customs duties, quotas and other restrictions on all products imported from Ukraine.

At the same time, additional corrective measures were provided, in case of exceeding customs duty will be charged again, exactly on poultry meat, eggs, honey, cereals, corn, oats and sugar. As of mid-July, the specified measures are already in fact applied to oats, eggs and sugar, and the export of honey is approaching the maximum permitted level of 44 400 tons per year.

In January-July 2023, deliveries of honey to foreign markets amounted to 27,9 thousand tons for 67,265 million USD.

The export of natural honey from Ukraine in 2023 amounted to 55 357 thousand tons for 121 384 million USD.
