Iraq has removed restrictions on Ukrainian poultry meat exports

The press service of Ukrainian State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection informs that Iraq has removed restrictions on Ukrainian poultry meat exports, which were caused by avian influenza outbreak.

It was also mentioned that the European Commission had decided to add Ukraine to the list of countries, to which zoning principles during the avian flu outbreak must be applied. This decision came into force on March 7, 2020.

The representative of Ukrainian State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection added that in such a way the European Commission removed restrictions on certification of poultry products for export to EU Member States from all over Ukraine, which means that from March 7, 2020 exports of poultry meat to the EU countries was resumed.
