In November, the value of foreign trade in dairy products in Ukraine amounted to $54.7 million, up 3.3% compared to October ($53.0 million).
Export volumes increased for the second consecutive month and totaled $23.84 million in November, rising by 12.7% compared to October ($21.16 million).
The export structure was as follows: condensed milk and cream – 37% of export value; cheese – 25%; butter – 21%.
At the same time, experts note that in November this year, compared with the same month of 2024, the value structure of exports changed slightly: the share of condensed milk and cream increased (from 30% to 37%), while the share of cheese declined (from 32% to 25%).
Import volumes in November amounted to $30.9 million, down 2.9% compared to October ($31.8 million). The structure of imports did not change significantly compared to last year.
The export–import balance in November remained negative (-$7.0 million), as in October (-$10.6 million) and September (-$10.9 million). Imports exceeded exports by 1.3 times.
