In January-March of this year, Ukraine exported 99 tons of pork, which is 54,7% more than in the same period last year (64 tons). In monetary terms, the export of these products for the first quarter increased 3,5 times — to 274 000 US dollars (78 000 US dollars in the first quarter of 2022).

The import of pork in January-March 2023 dropped to 4,3 times — to 3,16 thousand tons from 13,75 thousand tons, and in terms of money, the decline was four times — to 6,29 million US dollars. At the same time, the supply of poultry meat and by-products abroad increased in the first quarter of 2023 by 20% to 104,12 thousand tons, and in monetary terms the growth was 3,5% to 180,02 million US dollars.

During this period, imports reduced in physical terms by 22,3% to 15,48 thousand tons, in monetary terms by 28,2% to 8,37 million US dollars.
