Import of electric generators to Ukraine decreased by 30.4%

Imports of electric generator sets and rotary electric converters to Ukraine in January-April 2026 decreased by 30.4% compared to the same period in 2025 – to $359.1 million.

In April, imports of this equipment decreased by 27.4% compared to April 2025 and by 23.3% compared to March 2026 – to $60.3 million.

Most often in January-April, electric generators and converters were imported from the Czech Republic (19.6% of total imports of this product, or $70.3 million), China (18.7%, $67.2 million) and Romania (8%, $64.8 million).

Exports of electric generators from Ukraine during this period were insignificant – $0.8 million, mainly to Turkey.

In 4 months of the current year, imports of electric accumulators and separators for them to Ukraine increased almost 4 times – to $1.137 billion, mostly imported from China ($1 billion, or 89.3%), as well as from the Czech Republic ($26.6 million) and Poland ($13.3 million).

In April, imports of this equipment increased 4.3 times compared to April 2025 and by 7.6% compared to March 2026 – to $303.5 million.

Ukraine exported accumulators worth $14.8 million in 4 months, mainly to Poland ($4.2 million), France ($2.4 million), and Germany ($2.2 million).
