The IBRD will provide 0,5 billion US dollars to support the Ukrainian agricultural sector

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the raising of a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) for the implementation of the "Ukraine Agriculture Recovery Inclusive Support Emergency (ARISE) Project" for the amount of 230 million US dollars.

The loan will be directed to the Fund for the Entrepreneurship Development and in the future will allow solving the problems faced by the agricultural sector of Ukraine after the full-scale invasion of the russian federation. The Government also approved the attraction of a budget support grant from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development in the amount of 270 million US dollars for the implementation of the "Ukraine Agriculture Recovery Inclusive Support Emergency (ARISE)" project. The project, in particular, aims to ensure the sowing process and harvest during the next two years and to recover agriculture by providing greater financial opportunities for small agricultural producers.
