In 2024, the four EU countries bordering Ukraine imported agricultural and food products totaling €1.1 billion, whereas in 2023, this figure was 43% higher, reaching €1.94 billion. The value of agricultural product exports by Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, and Slovakia in 2024 is as follows: Romania €342 million, Hungary €240.3 million, Bulgaria €490.4 million, and Slovakia €89.6 million.
