Ukraine delivered 1,850 tons of Ukrainian wheat to Pakistan as part of the Ukrainian humanitarian initiative Grain from Ukraine. 

The donors were Spain and the Czech Republic. The assistance is provided within the framework of expanding the Grain from Ukraine program into Food from Ukraine. 

According to estimates by the UN World Food Programme (WFP), the shipment will support about 26,000 people. 

The delivered grain is already helping affected communities in Pakistan, and subsequent shipments will strengthen the country’s preparedness for the challenges of the monsoon season and create a reserve for rapid response.
