On February 21, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to exclude 4 industrial parks from the register of industrial parks of Ukraine.

We are talking about the First eco-industrial park (Ivano-Frankivsk Region, established in 2013); “SIGMA Park Yarychiv” (Lviv Region, established in 2017); Rivne Industrial Park (Rivne Region, established in 2020); and “Malyn-Zahid” (Zhytomyr Region, established in 2021).

The decision was made due to the fact that, over the course of 2 years, no management companies were selected for these industrial parks. Additionally, no economic activities aimed at developing the parks or attracting participants were conducted.

The exclusion of an industrial park from the register does not constitute grounds for its liquidation. It may continue its operations, but without receiving benefits or incentives from the state.
