Foreigners from 101 countries opened businesses in Ukraine during the full-scale war

During the full-scale invasion, citizens from 101 countries created 3 075 companies in Ukraine.

Most often, new businesses are started by foreigners from Türkiye (369 companies), Uzbekistan (312) and Poland (224).

Almost half of the total number of companies with foreign owners (1 517) were registered in Kyiv; at the same time, the owners of 175 of them were citizens of Uzbekistan.

There are 460 businesses in Lviv region, where mostly foreigners from Poland (105 companies) do their businesses. The number of businesses with foreign owners in Odesa region reaches 273, among which 99 belong to the owners from Türkiye.

According to analysts, the largest number of companies with foreign owners are engaged in wholesale trade - 30,7%. 6,7% of businesses with foreign owners deal with real estate transactions, 5,8% with computer programming.
