In the first quarter, pork imports increased 3.8 times

From January to March 2025, Ukraine imported 2,600 tons of pork, a 3.8-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

In monetary terms, pork imports for the first quarter increased 3.2 times compared to the same period in 2024, reaching $5.4 million.

In January–March 2025, pork was primarily imported from Denmark (84.6%), the Netherlands (9.4%), and Poland (4.5%).

Pork exports in the first quarter also increased, although not at the same pace as imports – 1.7 times compared to the same period in 2024 – and reached 845 tons.

In monetary terms, revenue from pork exports in the first quarter increased 1.8 times compared to the same period in 2024, reaching $2.4 million.

In January–March 2025, pork was mainly supplied to Hong Kong (34%), the UAE (20.2%), and Bahrain (12.2%).
