In the first days of June Ukraine exported almost 150 000 tons of grain

Since the beginning of the 2021/2022 marketing year (MR, which began on July 1), Ukraine exported almost 47,2 million tons of cereals and legumes. Since the beginning of June, 148 000 tons have been exported.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine with reference to the data of the State Customs Service, reports Ukrinform.

Thus, as of June 6, since the beginning of 2021/2022, Ukraine has already exported 47,177 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, of which 148 thousand tons — in June, in particular:

wheat - 18,578 million tons (in June - 8 thousand tons);

barley - 5,686 million tons (7 thousand tons);

rye - 161,6 thousand tons (no shipments were made in June);

corn - 22,445 million tons (132 thousand tons).

Also, since the beginning of the MR, 71,4 thousand tons of flour were exported (0,4 thousand tons - since the beginning of June).

As reported, on May 12, the EU Commissioner for Transport, Adina Velyan, presented in Brussels an action plan aimed at helping Ukrainian food exports called "Paths of Solidarity". As part of this project, 20 million tons of grain will be shipped from Ukraine using EU infrastructure in less than three months.
