Farmers will receive more than 30 000 sleeves for crop storage: the second stage of accepting applications has begun

On October 9, the acceptance of applications, open for two weeks at the end of September, for receiving sleeves for grain storage has ended.

Due to the great interest from farmers, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) are starting the second stage of the competition for farmers who did not manage to submit their applications by October 9. To participate in the second stage, you need to apply by October 23 through the State Agrarian Register (SAR).

According to the program’s conditions, farmers must have from 100 to 10 000 hectares under official cultivation, and use the received sleeves to store their own grown products. At the same time, their status – owner or leaseholder – is unimportant. As well as their legal status: applications from both legal entities and individual entrepreneurs are accepted. The key requirement is land cultivation on the territory controlled by Ukraine.
