In March, 375 000 tons of agricultural products were exported by automobile transport, compared to 364 000 tons in February and 328 000 tons in January. The largest volume of export in March among the western borders is observed at the Romanian border - 114 thousand tons and the Moldovan border - 99 thousand tons.
A reduction of almost 3 times is observed at the Polish border - 38 thousand tons, compared to 91 thousand tons in February and 104 thousand tons in January. The cost of transportation to Italy and Bulgaria increased from €10 to €30 per ton due to the lack of return cargo and the possibility of cost optimization. At the same time, the freight rate to Germany reduced to almost 15€ per ton by grain trucks. Domestic freight rates remained unchanged.
