Almost 672 000 tons of sunflower oil were exported from Ukraine in December 2023/24, which exceeded the November figure by 25% and became the maximum monthly volume of shipments since January 2022. Besides, this figure became the second largest for December in the entire history of export from Ukraine of the indicated products.

The main volume of oil in the indicated month was shipped to Romania and Türkiye – about 25% and 12%, respectively.

In total, nearly 2 million tons of sunflower oil were exported from Ukraine in September-December 2023/24, which is 4% higher than in the same period of the previous season.
