Export in June amounted to 3,2 billion dollars

In June, Ukraine exported goods for the amount of 3,2 billion dollars, the government expects further growth of export volumes.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this at the meeting of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

"In March and April, the export of Ukrainian goods reduced almost twice compared to the pre-war indicators and amounted to about 2,5 billion dollars per month. Three months of constant work by the government team and business allowed to increase exports by 20%. The total amount of export in June was already 3,2 billion dollars. And we count on further growth,"-  Shmyhal said.

According to him, the stability of the Ukrainian economy in wartime will also strengthen the unblocking of grain exports.

Firstly, it provides opportunities to increase foreign exchange earnings and business income. Ukraine contributes to global food security and is a reliable partner.

Export unblocking is directly related to the new harvest. As of the end of July, almost 12 million tons have already been collected. At the same time, it is planned to collect up to 20 million tons of wheat, which is five times more than domestic needs.
