Export of dairy products from Ukraine increased by 70% in October

In October 2022, Ukraine exported 9 000 tons of dairy products, which is 70% more than in the same period last year.

It is mentioned that the largest change was in the volume of deliveries of all kinds of cheeses, which were 1,3 thousand tons exported in October, which is 2,9 times more than in 2021. Deliveries were made to Poland, Kazakhstan and Moldova.

Also, in October 2022, the export of: non-condensed milk and cream - up to 2.6 thousand tons, which is 2 times more than in October 2021, condensed milk and cream - up to 2.91 thousand tons (by 92% more) and butter - up to 1.7 thousand tons (by 60%).

At the same time, in October the export of: buttermilk, coagulated milk and cream, yogurts, as well as kefir reduced - up to 234 tons, which is 28% less than in the same period last year, and whey - up to 989 thousand tons (which is 10% less).

The import of dairy products remained at a low level and amounted to 4,4 thousand tons, which is 58% lower than in October 2021. Reduction was in all categories.
