The volume of foreign trade in dairy products in January amounted to $40.5 million, significantly decreasing (by 35%) compared to the previous month ($61.8 million).
Export volumes in January of the current year amounted to $18.0 million and fell by 27% compared to December 2025 ($24.6 million). Imports amounted to $22.4 million and fell by 40% compared to December ($37.2 million).
The export-import balance in January 2026 was negative (-$4.4 million), as it was in December 2025 (-$12.5 million), the association states.
The value structure of exports in January was formed as follows:
32% – condensed milk and cream; 27% – cheeses; 21% – butter and other fats.
