The European Commission has launched a platform to optimize the export of Ukrainian grain to the EU - Grainlane

The European Commission, together with V_labs and Rail Cargo Group, has launched the "GrainLanes" trading platform for grain - Grainlane, which will contribute to the optimization of grain export from Ukraine to EU member states.

The platform was created for the sale and purchase of agricultural goods, uniting and strengthening contacts between representatives of European logistics and Ukrainian traders and farmers at the international level.

The peculiarity of the platform is that both trade and transport requests will be placed on it at the same time, which should facilitate the process of organizing export deliveries. So, the representatives of European logistics will be able to solve organizational issues with Ukrainian partners. The latter will be able to find partners for exporting their products, as well as new logistics solutions, in a few clicks.

This is especially crucial for the export of grain from Ukraine by ground transport, as new business relationships and supply chains will be formed.

Such a mechanism should speed up the process of coordinating opportunities between supply and demand. At the same time, full transparency regarding supply and demand and optimal logistics for products are guaranteed.

The platform is available in English and German at the link: https://app.grain-lane.com/welcome-page.

If the Grainlane platform is widely demanded among representatives of Ukrainian traders and farmers, additional functions will be added to it, such as: a specification of border crossing or a database of short-term logistics demand.
