The European Union has decided to temporarily restore quotas on the import of certain agricultural goods from Ukraine.
However, these quotas are a temporary measure, and the EU is working on revising the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area with Ukraine.
The reinstatement of quotas, effective until the end of 2025, means Ukraine will be able to export only 7/12 of the annual volume of the specified products.
No EU member state voted against the decision, though eight countries, including Germany, Sweden, Czechia, Denmark, and Lithuania, abstained.
