Enterprises that will purchase imported electricity will be protected from planned power cut within the limits of the purchased energy

The available capacity for importing electricity from EU countries, in particular Romania and Slovakia, is 600 MW per hour. Enterprises that will purchase imported electricity will be guaranteed protected from scheduled electricity supply restrictions in the volumes of electricity purchased by them.

The proposed mechanism, which is prescribed in Resolution No. 1 of January 3, 2023, adopted by the Cabinet of Ministers, will help the functioning of entire sectors of the economy, primarily those that are critically dependent on uninterrupted energy supply.
