Customs clearance procedures for export to Moldova have been simplified

To facilitate export procedure of supplies from Ukraine, the Emergency Commission of the Republic of Moldova has established a simplified procedure for customs clearance. The decision was made during the state of emergency in the Republic of Moldova, introduced by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova on February 24, 2022 for a period of 60 days.

Thus, copies of certificates of origin ST-1 (in paper or electronic formats) issued by Ukrainian authorities have the same validity as their originals. In this case, to the Customs authorities of the Republic of Moldova must be submitted a Declaration of Obligation to submit the originals of certificates of origin of goods in the form ST-1 after the state of emergency ends.

Sample declarations are available in Ukrainian and Romanian languages.

In case of problems with the use of electronic copies of certificates of origin of goods ST-1 during customs clearance of goods in the Republic of Moldova, please immediately inform the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
