In the first half of 2025, China retained its position as Ukraine’s leading trading partner, with bilateral trade reaching nearly $9 billion. Poland, a key European hub for Ukrainian exports and imports, ranked second with over $6 billion in trade turnover. Germany took third place with a trade volume of $4.28 billion.
The top five trading partners are rounded out by Türkiye ($4.25 billion) and the United States ($2.86 billion). European countries continue to dominate Ukraine’s foreign trade, with Italy, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Romania also among the top ten partners.
Among Asian countries, trade with South Korea, Japan, and India has been particularly active. Recently, trade turnover with Brazil and Mexico has also increased. African countries consistently purchase Ukrainian grain, metallurgical products, and machinery, maintaining steady demand for these goods.
