Cheese imports in the first half of the year increased by 15.5%

In January–June 2025, Ukraine imported 19,400 tons of cheese, a 15.5% increase compared to the same period last year. In monetary terms, cheese imports in the first half of the year increased by 23% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching $122.1 million. Cheeses were primarily imported to Ukraine from Poland (43.7%), Germany (13.2%), and the Netherlands (8.5%).

Exports of Ukrainian cheeses in the first half of 2025 increased by 25.5%, reaching 6,900 tons. In monetary terms, exports increased by 33.5% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching $31.9 million. The largest buyers of Ukrainian cheeses in January–June 2025 were Moldova (33%), Kazakhstan (30.9%), and Germany (9.1%).
